Timeline Playing Too Fast - very weird
I'm having a strange issue with Final Cut Pro right now (version 6.0.2). When I hit the spacebar to play the timeline it is playing like twice as fast as it should be, and although I see the audio meter moving, there is no sound. I'm assuming this is some hidden feature to allow you to play through material quickly, but I have no idea how I turned it on or IF I turned it on. And I can't seem to figure out how to turn it off or "fix" it.
I simply opened up FCP and hadn't done a thing and noticed this happening. So I closed the current project and opened an older project and it's doing the same thing. Any ideas on how to fix this? I tried quitting the app and restarting. No luck. |

Update: I noticed that this is an issue whether the clip is being played in the canvas from the timeline, or whether I have opened the clip within the viewer. Either way it is playing at around double-speed and with no audio (even though the meter shows audio).

Fixed: I shut down all apps and restarted the computer. It's working properly now. I'm still not sure if this was a glitch or a feature.
