capturing on hv20 problem
Hey guys
When capturing footage with my hv20 it breaks the tape into clips rather than the whole tape. It is quite annoying and would rather capture the tape as a whole. Any ideas? Thanks |

Are you sure it's not capturing the whole tape but giving you a breakdown in your browser?

Hey Bill
It does capture the whole tape but it breaks it down to takes. Every time we paused is another take. I would like just one file where I could scrub it in the viewer and mark in and outs. I am coming from PPro to FCS2 and am unsure if this is normal or can be changed. It sucks having 80 video files and having to go through each one. |

Jason, have you tried to uncheck the "Create new clip on Start/Stop" in the Clip Settings tab in Log and Capture window?

No I haven't but I will definitely give that a try on the next transfer.
Thanks |
