FCE wont install on new imac
Well my imac finally arrived this morning but when I tried to install my FCE 3 it says it can't install it because I need an AGP graphics card? I have the 20inch 2.4/2gb
I have it installed on my ibook g4 and it's fine? Please help!!!! |

All the new Macs use PCI Express Graphics cards now which is why it works on your powerbook. Unfortunately you may need to upgrade to the latest FCE to run on your new Mac.

It might be worth trying to copy the FCE application and library files across from your iBook to your iMac using FW target disk mode and see if it will run.

You should be able to use Pacifist to install the components directly from the pkg installer and skip the spec check.
