Minimal specs for editing DVC Pro HD footage?

If I understand correctly, DVC Pro HD is a 100 Mbit/sec format, is that right? Other than storage requirements, what sort of technical requirements do I need to know about when considering a project shot in this format (HVX on P2 cards, I believe 720p24)?

Will FCP 5.1.4 be good enough, or do I need to upgrade?

Is 2 GB RAM enough?

Perhaps the most critical of all, am I screwed working on a Dual-G4 (867 MDD) PowerMac?

If I have to, I may look into getting a refurb MacBook Pro to get me through, but I need to know what I need in order to work on this specific project -- which is very low budget, but interesting enough to make me want to work on it.
