FCP 6.0.3 and no H.264
So I recently just updated to 6.0.3, started a project shot on the ex-1, and sequences and renders set to pro res HQ. When I am working on this project I am unable to export using h.264, what happens is it stops at 7 percent and the estimated time just keeps going estimated times around 30 hours after an hour has passed. I then copied the sequence to another sequence set to the native settings of the EX-1, conformed it to Mpeg-2 and no joy.
Same results happen when I use compressor. I can't be sure if it is a pro res thing or a h.264 thing but I was wondering if anyone else has had similar exporting problems since the update? |

How long is the sequence? How old is your Mac? Thirty hours could be right on target.

Mine is the second generation mac pro with a 5 minute sequence. I made a new pro res hq sequence and I was able to export the sequence via h.264 in about 30 minutes which is normal for me. I am going to have to figure it out but maybe it just fixed itself.
