Colour pass
I wanted to ask if you can let the orange colour of a General Lee Dukes of hazzard car show through and everything else B/W in FCP2?
In Premiere you added a colour pass filter and selected the colour to show through, how and can this be done on the mac? Thanks Paul |

You could accomplish this using the 3 way color corrector - select all colors other than the orange, using 'Limit Effect' towards the bottom of the visual 3 way color corrector display.. Then, set Saturation to 0. Done!
I just did it to doublecheck the names of things such as the Limit Effect - took under 30 seconds to remove all color other than greens on a video. C PS - Meep... FCP2? I misread as FCS2. The step-by-step applies to FCP6.... Maybe still the same... (or similar? I hope?)
