Macbook Pro crashing with express card for esata raid

Does anyone have any experience with running esata off their Macbook pro? I just got a new one yesterday with a SIIG expresscard and a Lacie 2Big drive set to RAID 0. My computer keep going gray screen when I try transfering to it. Has anyone had a similar experience? Anyone have any ideas?

Thanks!
