audio
when trying to import audio from a windows computer they are greyed out and cant be used what format should i use for fce or soundtrack?

Short answer: AIFF is best.

What are you getting from the PC? WAV, MP3, other?

Really? WAVs don't work? I would have thought they would.
You can use QuickTime to convert, possibly iTunes... WAV are (basically) to Windoze what AIFF are to OS X
