Apple Pro res 422

How do you use this work flow and does it save storage on the drive and do you have to recapture the footage again to render it out for a SD DVD?

I really know nothing about this codec and would like some help with it if it helps speed up my work flow.

Many thanks

Paul

Paul,

This question is too general and would take up pages to respond properly.

If you go to the Apple website you'll find several white-papers on the ProRes workflow and it's implications. Also, if you have FCP 6 you'll also find a ton of documentation both in the online help reference and the printed manual. Those are the best places to start since there is a ton of information; once you learn the basics then you'll be able to ask more specific questions.
