I want to rename my reel numbers for my media
I am having to organize a huge (for me) HDV project that has many reel numbers that were inadvertently given the same name (i.e. Reel 1, etc.),
I want to give each reel a new and unique reel number. Firstly, can I do this. Secondly, if I can, what is the best way? I am using FCS2 on a 2x3 GHz Quad-Core Mac Pro with 5GB of Ram. Thank you. David |

You should just be able to rename it in the Browser. Select the clip, then scroll to the right. One of the list items is Reel Number. Clicking on the name should let you rename the reel.

That is what I have read too, I thought I'd better double-check, lots can change if I foul up the reel numbers, as you know thank you, David |
