Back Up Final Cut Pro Projects
I use a Raid 3 while working on projects in FC for “Final Cut Pro Documents” and internal drive for the project file.
What is the best way with FC to back up the full project onto an external FW 400 HD? I want the full project since this is an off site backup unless there is a better way. Coming from Avid Liquid 7 where you just use the save to a different location or backup command to any location. |

If you're looking to consolidate your project file and all your projects media to a second HD then you should use FCP's Media Manager to do a "Copy" File > Media Manager... All very simple ... just make sure you choose "Copy" and not "Move" Cheers Andy |
