FC Upgrade not installing FC!
What's up guys? I have V1.2 of final cut pro. I installed the upgrade after typing in the new S/N and the old S/N from my previous version. It loaded Color, Motion, DVD Studio, LiveType and Cinema Tools (have Soundtrack Pro already, from the Logic Suite) but didn't install Final Cut! I assume that it thinks Final Cut is already installed, however, that cannot be, because v1.2 is not supported by the new intel-based mac pros. This has me sratching my head. Hope the solution is easy. I want to start learning how to edit and stop dicking-around with technical crap all the time. Lol. I go to re-install Final Cut, and it says it is skipped. Anyone know what I am not doing correctly?

Are you trying to upgrade to Final Cut Studio 2.0 from Final Cut Pro version 1.2? I don't think upgrading from such an old version is supported. I think you have to buy the full version.
Also, what hardware do you have?

If you look at the fine-print near the end of the page, it says that it is supported. |
