why if i import an mp3 on final cut i must render it??

Final Cut doesn't really like mp3's. What I would do is import that mp3 into iTunes, and then convert it to an AIFF at 48kHz. That will work perfectly in FCP. Even after a render you will still get some playback issues with the mp3.

Tnx Nate... i just started using mac and FC! Tnx for the tip... The only bad new is that i've got an huge mp3 library of sound effects... and this means that if i'll convert it i will need an...huge room for it! There isn't any setup i can choose about FC could convert the mp3 files by his own when i import them? |
