Lost Audio Source Control
My A2 source control has disappeared in one sequence of a project I am cutting. It is still there in all the other sequences but not in this particular one, regardless of the type of clip being edited.
I'm sure I made an erroneus keystroke that made it disappear but I can't figure out how to bring it back Please help. Thanks, Rich. |

normally, as you know, the source tabs in the timeline depend solely on the clip currently loaded in the Viewer window.
if you double click one of your clips in the browser to load it into the Viewer (one that you know to have multiple audio tracks) and yet the timeline does not correctly update to display the source tabs correctly then you might need to reset the panel right click (control click) in the audio controls area of the timeline window and choose "Reset Panel" from the context menu |

Thanks for the tip Andy.
I'm trying to teach myself FCP in a hurry and occassionally i end up stumped by something seemingly minor. I ended up closing the project without saving, minimal loss fortunately, and re-opening, whereupon the lost source control was back. |
