Is the Matrox MXO any good?
I'm interested in the MXO but would like to hear any feedback from folks using it. Will the image displyed on it look just as good as if I were feeding raw footage to an HDTV?

Bill,
you can find a lot of good information about the MXO here on the DVInfo.net forums. Do a search at the top level (to include all forums), and you'll find plenty of comments. The quick summary is that for the money and given that it uses a standard LCD monitor, it has amazing results. Much more accurate than a consumer HDTV. Not quite as good as a broadcast monitor (especially CRTs), but then those cost much, much more than the MXO and a standard LCD monitor. As I said, there's a lot more detailed information already available here... - Martin

Shane Ross has a good review of the MXO on his blog.
