Capturing Audio in FCP, mono or stereo?

I made a video and the sound was captured using a lav mic going to just one channel in my camera. That was the only mic used. I am now going to capture my video and audio into my computer using final cut pro. In clip settings, would it be best to capture in mono or stereo? Thanks.

Just select that channel in your capture window.
