What besides smoothcam is best image stabilizer for fcp?
I have not upgraded to Leopard and don't plan to until
after the first upgrade and I finish the fcp project I'm involved in. I have some shots I'd like to stabilize and find the fcp included stabilizer is not up to it. Does anyone have a suggestion for a good stabilizer plug-in? Thanks, David |

You could try the stabilize node in Shake. I can't say its the best, as I haven't tried others. Generally it does a pretty good job.
Shake is available as a free 30 day demo from the Apple site. You won't be able to save your work but at least you'll know if you want to spring for the cost of the software. |

I've always had good luck with iStabilize. It's a stand-alone program so you will have to export your shaky footage, but this does an excellent job of stabilizing footage.
