DR60 support in FCP 6.0.2?
I notice with glee the new features in 6.0.2 that neatly coincide with my recent purchase of a V1U (cackles, rubs hands together- "my plan is coming together!") and an HVR-DR60 hard drive recorder. Especially when I notice the following in the release notes:
"The Log and Transfer window in Final Cut Pro 6.0.2 includes support for HDV camcorders with hard drive options, such as the Sony HVR-DR60. "Important: A separate plug-in from Sony is required to enable these features." Anyone seen this plug-in? Is it out in the wild yet? If so... has anyone tried this yet? |

Any luck with HVR-DR60 yet?
Edwin;
Have you found any solution yet? I'm in the same boat, waiting for file-based compatibility of the .m2t V1-U video to work with FCP.... |

No; although I did see a thread on another forum from a poster who said he called Sony and asked shortly after the FCS update and they were taken by surprise by the announcement. I'm tempted to call Sony's Business Support and ask them about it.
