FCS2 Audio question
I am going through the DVCreator.net Final Cut Pro Foundations tutorial which seems great.
Question: I can not seem to get the wave form in the timeline to work. I went to the right facing arrow at the bottom left and click on "Show Audio Waveforms" and it does not appear just some "X" at even spaces. Thoughts? |

The X's show up before the waveforms. Really long sequences can slow down this process, as can a slow computer.
Have you got the the show audio waveforms box ticked in the timeline options tab of User preferences? ALT/Apple + W is the keyboard shortcut to turn the waveforms on/and off. Can't think of anything else to try right now. |

Thank you Dom that worked with apple + W.
When you say the timeline options tab of User preferences do you mean on the lower left of the timeline with the right facing arrow where I can pick waveforms on? Or is there a menu control besides the Apple + W? |
