DeFocus Filter in FCP 6.0.1?
Apparently a DeFocus filter was released with FCP 6.0.1...
I can't seem to find it anywhere? Any ideas? Chris! |

I'm presuming no one has actually found it?

Thanks Robert!
Doesn't help though... On my Mac it's not there. Which has made me think - maybe the DeFocus filter (and possibly others) are only available on Intel Mac's or one's with good video cards? The Mac in question is only an old eMac... |

Didn't think of that possibility...
Yes, you're right; many of the filters and effects are the "FXPlug" type which are GPU accelerated and require certain hardware requirements found only on the later G5 models, Nvidia/ATI cards and the newer Intel-Macs. So, you're long overdue for an upgrade! |
