How can I eliminate extra pulldown frames using FCP 6?

Hi all. . .

I originally posted this in the Panasonic section, but only one person has answered and they couldn't help me.

Here's the deal: I am using FCP 6 (from Final Cut Studio 2) and I cannot find a way to eliminate the extra pulldown frames created by my HVX-200 using the Log and Transfer command. The old FCP 5 had a separate button you hit to dump the duplicate frames and it worked like a charm. There must be a way to do this in FCP 6, but I sure can't find it.

Do you gents have a suggestion of how to do this? If I can't figure it out soon, I'll be forced to shoot 720 all the time.

Thanks much.

Stephen

multiple ways

1. tools -> remove pulldown and pick one of them, there are several options including one for DVCpro100

2. open clips in cinema tools, reverse telecine will work even with mixed candence

3. compressor - remove pull down
