Export Problems with Multi format clip
Hello all, Im new to using DV and HDV in the same timeline and Im having problems exporting a 4 minute wedding clip. It was shot with a sony V1u, Sony HC7 and a Canon XL2. I have a nice shortmovie on the timeline but when I try to export two things happen. If I export using Quicktime conversion the file stats off ok but after about 7 hours it "hangs up" at 63%.
If I use compressor it exports and says it is complete. I get a quicktime Icon at the destination but when I open it its blank. I have tried exporting at 720p hd, 1080i hd H264 and prores 422. I am running FCS2 /2.6 gig quad core with 950 gig of HD space and 3 gig of ram Thanks |

I'm not sure what's wrong, but that's a very long export time, regardless of it stalling out.

Should have search more for slow render. Will download Macrescue and buy diskwarrior. Thanks again to the DVinfo forum
