Ideal Compressor settings for Web
I know there is a web delivery section, but I'm mainly looking for Compressor settings.
I've put a few videos on my site, the quality has been ok. I'm looking for some of the settings people use when they put their material on the Web using compressor. I'm curious to see how many differences there are in peoples settings. Thanks! |

I use the Quicktime 7 Download - H.264 800kbps preset, and just increased the frame size to 640x360 on 16:9 videos, and 640x480 on 4:3 videos. The compression ends up looking decent. If I have a video that's really short, or I want it to look particularly nice, I'll use the H.264 LAN preset. Maybe someone else has a better recommendation, I'm curious to see what other people use as well.

I use iPod video, both for web pages, and for You Tube.
320x240 setting if for You Tube, larger if I am feeling generous. |
