Shakey footage help please...
I got about 3 seconds of footage that I cannot seem to get stabilized. My NLE is FCE 2.0 and the image stabilization filter won't cut it - to the best of my ability.
I was wondering if anyone out there with a more sophisticated software package (I imagine "Shake" would do the trick) would consider helping me out and stabilizing the 3 seconds of video for me. I know the image will be enlarged to stabilize it and I'm okay with that. Even if it has to be enlarged up to 133% of original size. If you would be willing to help out, let me know and I'll email the file to you. It's about 11MB, a bit too big to post with the thread. I could really use the help... Thanks, Kevin |

If one of the others can't get it done, I will have a go at it. I just finished doing the same thing for one of my shots in Shake.

Thank you so much for the offer of help, guys. I'll just go down the list in the order people posted.
Thanks again. Kevin |

Nick! It looks GREAT!!!
Sorry to sound so over the top, but it really does look great. All I had to do was to enlarge the footage before the clip to 102.5% and then shift the footage after the clip 3 pixels to the left. You really saved my bacon on this one. I interviewed her for about 30 minutes and the best answer she had was the one where I bumped the tripod. I thought I'd have to figure out some B Roll to cover it up, but it didn't really make sense to have any right there in the doc. Well, if there is anything that I can do for you, please let me know what it is and I'll do my best. I think upgrading my software just got bumped up a few notches on the priority list. Thanks again, Kevin |
