I'm trying to shy away from that, which means buying a new Mac (which I can't afford if I buy a new camera). There are Microtel PCs for sale for like $200 for a 1 ghz machine with no operating system. Throw in Mandrake linux, voila! I would hook up my monitor to both computers via some sort of device and switch back and forth, like we do with our servers at my TV station.
