Using Color

How do I get the footage on the timeline to Color in FCP6?

I tried to export XML, but when I go to 'send to - Color', the 'Color' choice is inactive...

Does it work if you "Right-click->Send to->Motion" the sequence in the browser and try sending that way?

I right-clicked the sequence, but 'Color' was still inactive. I also sent it to Motion, but couldn't figure out a way from there to send it to 'Color'?

hehe I meant to right-click and send to Color, I guess I'm so used to sending stuff to Motion that I automatically wrote that instead..

Anyway, I can send all my sequences to Color, but not .motn-files or clips.

Is there anything you have to do with the sequence before sending it to Color? I'm just testing this. I created a new sequence, and just dropped some footage on it, and rendered it. Is there anything else I have to do maybe?

I don't have to do anything, all my sequences can be sent right away.
Color is working right, if so maybe there are some kind of settings that prevent it from being sent. I don't know if Color accepts everything or not. I've sent DV, HDV and DVCPro though, so it should take all normal stuff.

I tried changing the settings from Uncompressed to different formats, but it's still not working. I also tried saving the sequence as xml, opened Color and imported it, but nothing came up...
