low dvd audio
the audio levels are fine in final cut pro but when i export it to dvdsp its a lot quiter. Btw, I'm using Compressor, .ac3 default settings . I know that its not my tv because audio imported directly into dvdsp for slide shows is much louder and i'm also sure its not because i recorded it too low in the camera because I've also imported music that hasn't been altered and its quite too.
anyone know whats going on? |

Hey Pete,
I had the same problem in the beginning. The problem is when you export your timeline from Final Cut to DVD STP with ac3 default setting it exports the project with an dialog normalization -27 dbfs or more. You should try -31 dbfs for this and it should be at the same level as the project. Good luck! cheers Niels |
