What export settings
Hi guys,
I am new to FCP6 and was wondering how to export a movie. Should I export to QT or use compressor? I have never exported before so a detail of what settings should be used would be greatly appreciated. I am using a 24" imac. Which really sucks cuz it is exactly a month old and the new one was just released for $200 less with more features. |

dude
there's no way we can guess what you are exporting for unless you tell us ... should we tell you to export a fully uncompressed Animation codec version, or a Digital Intermediate, so you can take it to a PC based post facility for this, that or whatever? or are you looking for an export recipe for a good quality thubmnail sized movie that you can email to your mum? somewhere in between perhaps? :) cheers Andy |

Use Compressor: DVD 90 min Best Quality / Dolby Digital Professional 2.0
Works great. |
