Make Multiclip
Trying to use the Make Multiclip function but when i go to modify and try to select Make Multiclip, it will not allow me to select because it is not highlighted. Have tried shutting down and reboot but still same problem. Problem something really stupid that I am missing. Appreciate any help.
Thanks, John |

Please excuse the obvious- but I know I miss this sort of thing from time to time- you have selected (command- click) each clip you want to use in the multi clip, correct?
What version of FCP are you using? If it is 5 or earlier you will NOT be able to create a multi clip with sources that have either: a different frame rate (24p, 30p, 60i) or resolution (720, 1080, SD). Check to be sure your clips are identical if you are not using fcp6. I hope this helps. If not, try posting in the apple discussion forums- I've found on the more obscure issues there is a greater knowledge base there: http://discussions.apple.com/forum.j...ID=939&start=0 |

John,
make sure you select the clips in the browser, not in the timeline, before looking for the "Make Multiclip..." menu entry. You have to create the multiclip first, then edit it into a sequence - even though it might be tempting to align all clips involved on a timeline first. Also make sure all clips meet the general multiclip requirements (such as same frame rate, same resolution, etc.). - Martin
