Downrez in FCP from ProRes422 to DV
I'm trying to downrez a project that was shot in HDV and brought in via Blackmagic Intensity as ProRes422 HQ. Looking to make 4:3 DV and web compressed versions. I am doing a bit of horizontal pan-and-scan to center up the images in the process.
I made a DV sequence (changed the sequence preset), then dropped my ProRes sequence into it. Did the panning corrections, then rendered. The result looks pretty good except that fast motion stutters/jitters. I wouldn't mind making the panning corrections in the full resolution, but can't figure out how I would make a 4:3 HD sequence... I need to get this project out by tomorrow--can anyone help me? where am I going wrong?
