Macbook M1 Pro internal editing question
Hi - With a 1tb internal, does it make sense to copy SD cards to it (in the field), then edit internally, then backup to an external? I have USB C SSDs, but I hate how USB C plugs slip out - especially editing in a car. Is the M1 Pro finally fast enough to make internal editing viable?

Re: Macbook M1 Pro internal editing question
It depends on the interface, https://www.cablematters.com/blog/USB-C/usb-3-0-vs-3-1
Also if you do an Amazon search for thumb drives and SSDs and then compare the read write speeds you will see a difference.
