Viewing scopes in the multicam edit.

I stepped away from FCPX for a while and apparently they changed a few things.

I have a multicam edit, and every time I pull up the scopes, the Angle Editor disappears. Is there a way to have the angles and the scopes open at the same time?

Re: Viewing scopes in the multicam edit.

I use scopes during multicam edit. They both display on the screen, but are trying to occupy the same part of the interface and tend to squash up. I am on a 27 inch iMac so there is enough space. I generally only have them up together occasionally doing my colour correction first then the multicam edit afterwards. I last did this on 10.4.0, I have upgraded to 10.4.1 but have not used this since the upgrade.

Yeah, not sure. When I open angles my scopes disappear and visa versa.

Re: Viewing scopes in the multicam edit.

I ended up dragging the 'browser' window to a secondary display so now the scopes are there. When I take it off the secondary display, now they both show up in my workspace. Odd. Anyway, all good now.

Re: Viewing scopes in the multicam edit.

Found this via Google.
Steven, can you confirm how you have them showing at same time please.
I can get them both to show but the scopes only reflect levels of the selected event in the browser, not the timeline.
It would be so handy to be able to undock the scopes and put where you want.
