MacBreak Studio on FCP X Favorite/Reject Strategies
Last month I did an episode of the FCP X Virtual Users Group and while we were in Petaluma, they asked us to do a MacBreak Studio episode as well.
Mine went live yesterday. For anyone interested, it can be watched here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rWS8tZSVn8M#t=42 Hope it helps some who might be new to X.

Re: MacBreak Studio on FCP X Favorite/Reject Strategies
Already watched it on fcp.co - great overview! I like your training style as well. I take a very similar approach and it's always good to have what you're doing validated and reinforced. I also enjoyed the user group broadcast and your Final Cut Grill episode.
I especially liked your point that selecting, favoriting, keywording, etc. is not a tedious chore you do before the editing starts - it IS editing. You could make the case that it actually starts as you choose what to import from the camera. Keep up the good work! |

Bill,
I'm not new to FCPX, but your method is very nice. It has saved me lots of time when selecting sections of an interview. |
