Audio Out to Mixer
I've got the cylindrical Mac Pro and want to get audio out to the mixer which feeds the studio speakers. I've purchased an AJA T-tap which converts the Thunderbolt 2 to SDI video and that goes to to the video-monitor. It would be ideal if the AJA T tape also had an audio out but it doesn't.
Right now I'm taking a feed from the headphones jack on the Mac Pro and sending that to the audio mixer. It seems to work OK but I'm wondering if anyone has found a better way to get audio out to the mixer? Dan |

Re: Audio Out to Mixer
As it turns out I was making this too difficult. The AJA T-tap includes audio in the SDI output. From the video monitor I took audio out and ran that to the audio mixer. Everything stays in sync and looks and sounds great.
