Canon Log Profile

For those of you using FCPX and are dissatisfied with the Canon Log profile that has been included in the latest update, you may be interested in my method of processing Canon Cine files.

In the Color Board set Sauration to +12% and the Exposure as follows: Shadows -12%, Mid +10% and High +25%.

Exposure may be as determined by auto iris and you may find it advantageous to set the exposure to 0.5 or 1 stop above the normal level determined by auto iris.

This seems to be a good and safe method and has resulted in some very good images.
