Final Cut 7 & Final Cut Pro x
I have two hard drives on Mac Pro. SSD for boot drive and a separate scratch disc. I have Final Cut Pro 7 on the SSD boot drive. I would like to keep Final Cut Pro 7 for the time being. My question is this: Should I download Final Cut Pro X into the SSD boot drive (Final Cut Pro 7 is currently on this drive), or download Final Cut Pro X into the scratch Disc?

Re: Final Cut 7 & Final Cut Pro x
Installing FCPX does not remove FCP7. FCP7 is placed into a new folder within the Application folder but will still work, only not when FCPX is already open (or visa versa). Download the demo version first before buying FCPX and install it on your SSD.
