Re: Image sequence Motion 5 help.
I don't know if this will help you or not. But I can't seem to find a "share" button or "export to" button to send things into Motion from FCPX.
So what I have to do to work on anything in Motion, including .jpg is put it on a storyline in FCPX and export to ProRes then import to Motion. That should work for you. But I think its very dumb to have to do it this way. Not to mention there will degradation in footage or stills when doing this (from what I've read online). Anyone else know a better way or are we missing something? |

Re: Image sequence Motion 5 help.
I also just added Motion 5 to my workflow, after having been in FCPX since it came out. I haven't really done anything yet, but like the abot person, I'm very surprised to fine that there is no rountripping or easy workflow between FCPX and M5. What's up with that? Anyone know if it will be addressed in an update? Is there a good/better workflow between the two, and it's just different than the previous "send to Motion" roundtrip thing?
