Audio issue with dual stereo

I dont know why, but I am having a tough time trying to have dual stereo out of both speakers. When I render the video I only have one speaker that is playing music.
Probably an easy fix.
Thoughts?

Re: Audio issue with dual stereo

I should of been more specific on my questions and for some reason it doesn't allow me to edit my post.

When converting a video to H264 from FCP X my audio becomes hot and has a static sound to it and only plays on one speaker, but plays just fine in the final cut timeline. Prior to being converted the files are all switched from stereo to dual mono and still won't play out of both speakers.
Thoughts? Thanks guys!

Have you checked that a track has not been muted somewhere in your workflow?

I believe you can edit your post up to 30mins from first posting.

Cheers.

Re: Audio issue with dual stereo

Symptoms are a little confusing but one issue could be a phase problem which would only show up in the mono mix. Don't know what options you have for monitoring in Mono when in FCPX. The hot sound with static sounds like overmodulation when the mix is happening so maybe you should lower the levels on the tracks of the piece so they don't get too loud when mixed together.
