Hague Camframe
A rare find for anyone interested . A UK based EBay seller has several Hague Camframe Steadymount camera cages for sale:
https://www.ebay.ca/itm/Hague-CF-Cam...-/264636872100 This is the original Camframe model (CF) that was designed for small camcorders. It's big brother, the Pro Camframe (PCF) is still available for large camcorders. Sadly the original CF model was discontinued and replaced by a modified design (CFSLR) that has mount plate that is set back to provide better counter balance for DSLR cameras and their lenses. However that configuration is less than optimal for mounting camcorders with a centre-balanced tripod hole - unless a sliding quick release mount is used to bring the camcorder forward. IMHO, the original (CF) design was better in that regard; the 1/4"-20 thread mount hole (with anti-rotation pin) is on the frame bar itself. I've just snapped one of the four units being sold to use with my Canon HF-G40. I already had a Hague Camgrip Steadyshot C-bracket, but wanted to be able to mount a LANC remote zoom. The Camframe better meets that need. |

The EBay Seller was also a pleasure to deal with.
