NanoFlash. No audio recorded. at DVinfo.net

Hi, sorry, I'm not sure where to post this.

A friend of mine dropped his NanoFlash, The fall broke the screen.
He had bother finding someone to have a look at it, eventually he found a retired TV engineer that promised nothing but would look at it anyway, my friend Martin, had nothing to loose :)
He was able to get the screen replaced. He thought all was well untilled he tested it and found that it recorded the picture perfect but the NF now won't record the audio for some reason.

My friend was told that there is a board for picture and another for audio.BTW.

Anyone any ideas? Or maybe someone has a NF they no longer need and willing to sell.
