FS 4 or SD-11

I am at present using a Canon XL1s which I hope to upgrade to an XL2
in the near future and am concerned about head wear during download
to my computer.
Should I purchase a new cheap MDV camera ( £300 )
a Firestore FS 4 ( £600 )
a Sony DSR 11 ( £1400 )
I think the best option will be the FS4 but I would like your opinion, also
will the FS4 work with Pinnacle Studio 10 editor.
Many thanks

sooner or later, you will probably find yourself needing tape backup of a shoot... so my vote goes for getting the cheapest mini-dv camera you can find to use as an editing deck, it will be a lot cheaper than having to replace the camera heads... then add the fs-4 as warranted.
