DR-DV5000 support DSR-370?

Hi,
I planning to buy DR-DV5000 for my JVC GY-DV5001E,
I also have DSR-370P , so sometimes i like to use on
DSR-370P, issit support too? Then in future i also consider
to get a SONY XDCAM , issit support to use too? thank you

It is not possible to mount the DR-DV5000 to a DSR-370P. The problem is the 52-pin connector on the DR-DV5000 which would get in the way of the rear battery plate on the DSR-370. In this situation, I would recommend you purchase an FS-3 instead as you will be able to mount to both camcorders. the downside is that you will not be able to use some of the DR-DV5000's unique features.

I have tested the FS-3 on a Sony PDW-510 and PDW-530 XDCAM camcorder and all was fine. You just have to makes sure the DV in/out is turned on.

Hi,
Thanks for reply.
I have thinking to find a battery plate for DR-DV5000.
So issit if can attach with DSR-370P battery holder,
then can be use the Firewire on the 370P ? it will
runnning well?
