Analog to DV to Tapeless recorder
Howdy,
I have some nNovia A2D units and have tested a setup where I connected a Canopus ADVC-100 to the firewire port of the A2D and set it to digital capture. It works. Has anyone else tried this or does anyone know of a very compact Analog to DV convertor? Why not just buy the A2D units? A DV only recording device cost half of what the A2D's cost. If I can add an analog to digital converter for say $100 I can cut my cost greatly. Thanks, ~PH |

Firestore FS4 ?
Edit: sorry. re-read and noticed you want the ADC bit and not the DV recorder bit. |

Ya, I can use any DV tapeless device, need a compact analog to DV solution. The Canopus ADVC-55 is smaller than the 100 but pricey, almost $200 and I have to supply power to the 55 as well.
