In car (rally) camera recording
I have been asked to record footage from inside a rally car. I have a colour bullet camera which is up to the task but wondered if anyone can suggest a decent quality tapeless recorder. I have seen a couple of recorders advertised on the web which record to flash cards or compact flash cards stating they can record upto 120 minutes or so on a 4gb card. Because of the banging about of the car I think solid state may be more reliable than hard drive.
Any experience or suggestions would be gratefully welcomed. |

most of people use chasecam, since it is the only affordable mpeg2 recorder on the market.

I record to tape with good results from bullet cams.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=31MG0lW3uQA This is likely just as rough as rally racing. I was thinking of going tapeless, but that would get expensive when you use 6-10 onboards. The video is mine and someone else put the music to it? |
