Kong and Aimee’s beautiful wedding at the Nestldown Estate brought a wonderful group of people to the tall redwoods of the Santa Cruz mountains, after which we went to the famous Dynasty Restaurant for a huge banquet. The wedding was captured primarily with photographs, but at the time we were still playing around with the idea of fusion films as another form of artistic, documentary photojournalism with a different characteristic than is possible with just images. We didn’t set up any elaborate audio equipment for this wedding, resulting in a fusion set that isn’t as comprehensive as we have done for other weddings. All that being said, with just some candid clips, beautiful images, all we had to do was let this amazing couple (and their adorable “baby” Spike) take care of the rest.
