Very nice video footage. A little too much 'fish-eye' lens curve for my own taste, but still a good extra tool to have in the bag. :)

I actually liked that curved horizon. It looked like clouds were boiling in the pan. Neat effect.

Is the opening shot a zoom in? On which body?

It is just manual twisting lens zoom from 8mm to 15mm position while lowering and levelling camera body to horizon. Most of the other shots are mini heli footage.

My question is which body was this on? That's a heck of a vignette at 8mm.

All the video was shot using 5d Mark II and 7D bodies.

That's what the "circular" in "circular fisheye" means. If you think about it, there really is no other way to display a 180-degree (vertical) on a rectangular sensor. Other fisheyes only measure 94 degrees vertical (180-degrees diagonal), so they can fill the frame.

Thanks Daniel, so unless you want the vignette you'd never zoom out to 8mm on a full frame body?
