For those interested in equipment, Michael Fletcher used two Canon 5D mk2's, Canon lenses 16/35mm, 24mm, 85mm, 18mm tiltshift, 400mm. Fostex FR2LE Field Recorder, Rode Mic's, Azden Wireless Mic's, Aqua Tech Water Housing, Various filters, Lee, Polarizers etc. Macbook Pro, MacPro, and Final Cut Studio 7.

I too would like to know, what kind of stabilization was used in the aerial shot. Was the 5D mounted on the plane/helicopter itself?
edit: okay found it on vimeo comments: - "Just used a monopod attached to the 5D with my rubber thong as a stabilizer. Fixed the rest up in FCP's smoothcam filter." |
