Everything about video is democratized these days - except marketing.
Think about it. You can get a camera for cheap. You can get your friends to act for free. You can edit with the same tools as the pros. You can distribute on the Internet for free. But how do you get 10M people to pay to see your film on opening weekend? Got $20M for an ad budget? I've got to hand it to these guys for their gorilla marketing. Here's a tip: Make your own feature film this weekend. (With a cinema verite style, it could be done.) Then promote your own film as the first. Call those guys liars. Controversy will give you both publicity!

Well I mean it's not really a trailer, it's more like some early production footage spliced together. But although it doesn't really interest me as a viewer it does interest me as a fellow producer so it kinda does what it should.
