First snowfall that stuck this year. I'm learning about tricking the 5d mark II into wide open aperture. Feedback?

I used a ND filter #8 stacked with a polarizer on some of these clips. It still has a mind of it's own when it comes to aperture. Anyone figured out how it thinks yet?
