The Garden

Last weekend, I was able to borrow the Canon 7D and have to say I am in love with it. Of course, for the short tome with it, I had to produce some sort of video so I made a short montage of various shots around the plants in my front yard. I hope you enjoy. Any feedback would definitely be appreciated.

For those that are curious, I edited this in Final Cut Pro 7, using the 3-way color corrector to get to the look I wanted in the video. I also applied some vignetting and also a smoothcam filter to most of the shots to give it a more stable look. Of course with the CMOS nature of the chip on the camera, there is some minor jello effect on the image which I decided to live with over shaky handheld work. In addition, I took the footage into Apple's Motion and slowed things down there since the software features optical flow technology, leaving me with smoother slo-mo effects.
